The Douglas Art Gallery has a large selection of arts and crafts available in the gift shop, as well as rotating shows and events throughout the year
We invite a new artist each month to show their collection of original art and allow them to either sell or not sell their work on our website.
Arts & Crafts Classes
The gallery sometimes offers classes in various areas of artistic endeavor.
The classes, or workshops, are taught by accomplished artists from our community or Arizona artist communities.
There is a nominal fee for these classes or workshops for materials. Sometimes the professional artists also charge a small fee for their travel and personal expenses.
We are a local group serving our community. Please come join us.
Rich History
The Gallery building was constructed in 1901 and it has gracefully evolved over the last 120+ years, embracing a multifaceted existence that celebrates creativity and community engagement. It has been used as a church, town hall, school, and city library.

Douglas Art Association
The Association was incorporated in the State of Arizona in December 1968. The Gallery is governed and run by a group of dedicated volunteers who freely give their time (and sometimes personal resources) to keep the gallery open as a venue for local artists of all ages and backgrounds to display and sell their handmade artistic creations. The Gallery holds annual elections for a Board of Directors. Please speak with an office to volunteer to help us keep this magnificent organization open and serving this community.
The Douglas Art Association Gallery, Inc. is an organization operated exclusively by volunteers who have a love of all things art. From our President to our dedicated Docents, we all love our community, our artists/crafts-people, and the sweet satisfaction we feel by serving the people in our surrounding areas.
We are not a typical gallery in that we are Non-Profit, meaning that any income we obtain goes back into increasing our ability to serve. None of our Board of Directors, volunteers, or Docents receive pay of any kind. We occasionally grant monetary assistance to deserving local group and artists.
